When the eSIM is activated, which our terms count as the moment the profile is installed and provisioned on your device, or the moment it first connects to a partner network — whichever happens first. Install it close to your trip rather than the day you buy it, and turn on data roaming for the Lumo line once you arrive in Global. That same moment is when the plan stops being refundable, so installing is not a step you can undo.
