Which networks does a Lumo eSIM use in Southeast Asia?

Is 5 GB enough for 30 days?
That works out at about 171 MB a day. As a guide, light messaging and maps use 1-3 GB, social and browsing 5-10 GB, and streaming or tethering 15 GB or more.
Can I make calls or send SMS?
No. Lumo plans for Southeast Asia are data-only — they provide mobile internet with no calls, SMS or phone number. Keep your primary SIM active if you need voice and text.
Will my phone work with a Lumo eSIM?
Most phones released from 2018 onwards support eSIM, including iPhone XS and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, and many Samsung Galaxy models. Check Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) for an eSIM or Add Cellular Plan option, and make sure the phone is carrier-unlocked.
When do the 30 days start?
When the eSIM is activated, which our terms count as the moment the profile is installed and provisioned on your device, or the moment it first connects to a partner network — whichever happens first. Install it close to your trip rather than the day you buy it, and turn on data roaming for the Lumo line once you arrive in Southeast Asia. That same moment is when the plan stops being refundable, so installing is not a step you can undo.
Can I share this plan over a hotspot?
Yes. Every option on this page is recorded as supporting hotspot and tethering, so a laptop or a second phone can use the connection. Shared traffic comes out of the same allowance.
Can I add more data to this plan?
